Today Waukee Northwest Vocal Music Varsity Jazz Choir - Keynote--performs in the Iowa Vocal Jazz Championships!
The group is one of 31 groups performing today and one of 8 groups in the 4A division. They perform at 6:20pm at the SAMI Performing Arts Center at Spirit Lake, HS.

One audition does not define who you are or your worth—we are THRILLED that you will be a part of the Northwest Vocal Music family. It’s a privilege & a pleasure to be your directors & to know YOU! Hometown: Bondurant, IA
Alma Maters: Drake University, UMass-Amherst
Years Teaching: “I started my 1st post- grad school teaching position at Luther College 18 years ago. This was my 1st year at Waukee.”

Why Choral Music?
“I have so many fantastic memories of singing with Drake choir all over Europe and the United States. Being in a choral ensemble and making music together unites people in a way no other activity can.”

What excites you about Northwest?
“A fresh start, building a new choral culture, multiplying the awesome music-making that happens in the city of Waukee.”

Fun Fact: “I've been to Europe over 15 times.”
