Last May, the Northwest Wind Symphony recorded the Steampunk Suite by Erika Svanoe. It was a wonderful experience for the band and we are really proud of the students for creating such a great recording. Congratulations to the 26 students from Northwest and Trailridge who auditioned for the 2025 Iowa All-State Band and Orchestra yesterday in Atlantic. We are so proud of you for having worked through this rigorous process, and we know you have all grown as musicians and as people.

Congratulations as well to the eleven students who were accepted into the ensembles, as well as the four who were named as alternates!
