Football is officially back. 🏈

Tomorrow, another season gets underway, and it’s always a good reminder of how fortunate we are to do what we do.

Throughout this offseason, we’ve had the opportunity to work with hundreds of athletes from across the Des Moines metro - different schools, different ages, different goals - all putting in the work to be ready for this moment.

We don’t take that opportunity lightly.

To every athlete who has walked through our doors, every parent who has trusted us with their son, and every coach and program that has allowed us to be a small part of what they’re building - thank you.

Our job has never been to replace what happens within your program. It’s to support it, develop the athlete, and help send them back to their team more prepared than when they came to us.

Now the offseason work is done. It’s time to go play.

Good luck to all of our athletes, coaches, families, and programs kicking off the 2026 season. We’ll be cheering you on all fall.

What our athletes see today started with years of relentless work.

Before leading athletes at Apex Academy and D1 Des Moines, Karter lived the process himself.

An All-American, MVFC Defensive Player of the Year, FCS DPOY, and NFL defensive lineman…but more importantly, someone who earned every opportunity through discipline and consistency.

We’re proud to have a leader who has done it at the highest level and is passionate about helping the next generation do the same.

The standard is the standard.

Karter Schult was definitely ‘That Guy’!

Karter Schult recorded 17 sacks, 24 tackles for loss, and 74 total tackles his senior season, which earned him MVFC Defensive Player of the Year, and his 2nd First-Team All-American honor!
