📣 Spread the word 📣
Hardee Senior High School Swimming and Diving will be hosting their annual Float and Flick at the Hardee County Pool on Saturday, August 29th for all HARDEE students in the 6th grade through 12th Grade.
Cost is $5 cash at the gate. Bring a suit, towel, pool float and money for food and drinks at our concession stand.
Event starts at 7:00 PM and ends at 10:00 PM. It will be heavily supervised.
All monies collected will go to HHS Swim and Dive Team. 🧡🏊🏻‍♂️💙🏊🏻‍♀️

This is the last week of Open Swim at the Hardee County Recreation Complex Pool!

📅 Now through Friday, July 31
🕐 Open Swim: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Grab your family and friends and enjoy one last week of fun in the sun before the season wraps up. We can’t wait to see you at the pool!

Pool Day = Double the Fun Today!

Join us at the Hardee Recreation Complex Pool today ,July 24 for a full day of swimming!

🏊 Open Swim: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
🌙 Open Swim Night: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Admission: $5 per person for each open swim session.

Whether you're spending the afternoon splashing in the sun or enjoying a relaxing evening swim under the stars, we've got you covered! Bring your family, grab your friends, and make it a fun-filled Sunday at the pool.

Meet Kara Brinson!

Kara is one of our wonderful Concession Team members and is back for her second year at the Hardee Rec Complex! 💙

Her favorite part of working at the pool is watching kids make progress during swim lessons and seeing families come together to enjoy open swim. She loves being part of the fun and helping make every pool day a great experience!

When she's not at the pool, Kara enjoys going to the beach and spending quality time with her family.

If you stop by the concession stand, you'll probably find Kara enjoying a plate of nachos—a pool-day favorite!

As summer comes to a close, Kara is looking forward to returning to work and having a great year.

🌟 Meet Holler Patterson! 🌟

Holler is one of our dedicated Lifeguards and has been part of the Hardee Rec Complex team for about 2 years (730 days!)! 💙

His favorite thing about working at the pool is getting a good tan while spending his summer helping keep everyone safe.

When he's not on lifeguard duty, Holler enjoys mountain biking and swimming, making the most of the outdoors.

A fun fact about Holler is that he loves nature and enjoys spending time outside whenever he can.

If you stop by the concession stand, you'll likely find him enjoying a cheeseburger with a Gatorade—a perfect meal after a day in the sun!

Looking ahead, Holler plans to serve in the U.S. Army, taking on new challenges while serving his country.

🌟 Meet Rory Collier-Chaney! 🌟

Rory is one of our outstanding Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors (WSI) and has been part of the Hardee Rec Complex team for 2 years! 💙

Her favorite part of working at the pool is watching each child grow and seeing their confidence in the water increase. She loves seeing the progress each swimmer makes and sharing her passion for the water with the next generation.

When she's not at the pool, Rory enjoys going to the beach, spending time with friends, and competing on the swim team.

A fun fact about Rory is that she's a Junior Coach for the HSA 12 & Under Swim Team, where she enjoys helping young swimmers develop their skills and confidence in the pool.

If you stop by the concession stand, you'll probably find Rory grabbing a coffee to keep her energized!

Looking ahead, Rory plans to graduate with her Associate of Arts (AA) degree as she continues working toward her future goals.

🌟 Meet Coach Brittany Campos! 🌟

Coach Brittany is one of our experienced Water Safety Instructors and Supervisors and has been part of the Hardee Rec Complex family for nearly 15 years as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and supervisor! 💙

Her favorite part of working at the pool is witnessing that special "aha!" moment when swimming finally clicks for a beginner. Coach Brittany is passionate about water safety and loves helping young swimmers gain the confidence and skills they need to stay safe in and around the water. She also enjoys working alongside her high school athletes and building meaningful relationships with them.

When she's not at the pool, Coach Brittany enjoys reading, spending time at the beach or lake, and catching up on some well-deserved sleep.

A fun fact about Coach Brittany is that she's the Head Coach of the Hardee High School Swim & Dive Team and also coaches with the HSA Swim Club. She loves helping young swimmers progress from swim lessons into competitive swimming, creating opportunities that can last a lifetime.

If you stop by the concession stand, you'll likely find Coach Brittany enjoying nachos with a Mountain Dew.

Beyond her work at the pool, Coach Brittany is a 3rd Grade ELA Teacher at Hilltop Elementary and has proudly served the Hardee County School Board for 13 years, inspiring students both in the classroom and in the pool.

Night Swim was a splash-tastic success!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening of fun, laughter, and making summer memories at the Hardee County Recreational Complex Pool! We loved seeing families and friends enjoying the pool under the lights.
