This is a wonderful opportunity for families to come out, meet our amazing 4-H leaders, and explore the many interests and opportunities available through 4-H!

Your child can visit each booth, talk with our leaders, ask questions, and discover what interests them most. Whether they love 🐇 rabbits, 🐓 chickens, 🐄 livestock, 🌿 environmental science, or something completely different—there’s something for everyone!

And we’re excited to have some great community partners joining us! 💚

Hardee County 4-H exhibitors — it’s time to get those steers registered for the upcoming show season!

💚 Thank You for Making a Difference! 💚

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Genesis and Luna Pantoja for their generous pop tab donations in support of the Hardee County 4-H Cracker Trail Clubs Community Service project!

These small tabs help raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities Pop Tab Program, which provides support for families with children receiving medical care. It may seem like a small act, but every pop tab collected helps make a BIG difference!

Want to help? You can drop off your aluminum pop tabs at the Hardee County Extension Office, where our green collection bucket is ready to be filled. Every tab counts, and together we can make a meaningful impact in our community and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support this worthwhile project—we appreciate your generosity and commitment to helping others!

🍰 Sweet success at Hardee County 4-H's Cake Decorating Camp! 🎂

Our Cake Decorating Camp gave youth the opportunity to learn the basics of creating the perfect icing and decorating their very own cakes. Participants also enjoyed a special demonstration from Mrs. Brewer, who taught our Cookie Decorating Camp, as she shared different icing techniques and decorating methods that can be used to create beautiful designs.

After the demonstrations, everyone put their new skills to work, creating unique cake designs while making new friends and lasting memories along the way.

A huge thank you to all of the youth who attended and to our wonderful volunteers who helped make these camps a success. We can't wait to see everyone continue practicing what they learned and create even more amazing cake designs in the future!

🍪 Hardee County 4-H had a successful Cookie Decorating Camp yesterday!

After everyone settled into their spots for the day, they gathered around Mrs. Susan Brewer as she demonstrated both the proper way—and her special secret method—of making sugar cookies that they will be decorating throughout camp. Participants made four different cookie shapes and even had the opportunity to create their own unique designs with their leftover dough. We saw plenty of creativity, including cookie creations shaped like dolls, snails, and many other imaginative designs!

The campers enjoyed a day filled with baking, socializing, and making new friends. By the end of the day, many were already asking when the next Cookie Decorating Camp would be held, which tells us they had a wonderful time.

We would also like to thank our volunteer, Marty Taylor, for sharing her baking knowledge and helping campers with their cookie decorating skills throughout the day.

We appreciate everyone who joined us and look forward to seeing our youth throughout the upcoming 4-H year and at future camps. 💚🍀

📌Reminder that the Hardee County Extension Office is still a drop off location for drink tabs, for Cracker Trails 4-H club Community Service Project!📌

Cracker Trail 4-H is getting a head start on their 2026–2027 community service project, and we need YOUR help! 💚

This year, the 4-H club is collecting soda can and energy drink tabs to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities Pop Tab Program. These small tabs make a BIG difference—by recycling them, we help generate funds that support families with children receiving medical care.

You can drop off your tab donations at the Hardee County Extension Office, where we have a green collection bucket ready to fill! Every tab counts, and together we can make a meaningful impact in our community and beyond.
