💙 A little “out of the blue” appreciation! 💙

🎉 Today, our admin team treated our staff to a little something special as a way to say THANK YOU for all of their hard work, dedication, and heart during these first few weeks of school! 👏

We are so grateful for the incredible people who show up every day ready to pour into our Bobcats and make a difference. We truly have the BEST staff around! 🥰 Thank you for all you do! 🐾🎉

Mrs. Benavides’ 2nd graders brought their A Game during a tough round of Knock Out while reviewing for their number sense test!

A little friendly competition made practicing math skills even more exciting as students worked to show what they know and get ready for test day!

Our 3rd graders are ROUNDING their way to success! ➗✏️🔢

Students are building their number sense as they learn how to round numbers to the nearest ten and hundred. These foundational skills help prepare our Bobcats for more complex math all year long! 🧡💙🐾

🦕 Counting with Critters 🦖

Miss McCoy’s students had a wild time counting critters while building their number sense! 🔢 But the learning didn’t stop there—they were also strengthening their listening skills, practicing self-control, and following directions along the way.👂🧠✨

📚 Reading, Writing & Friendship! ✏️💙

Our first-grade Bobcats are learning how to use writing to respond to a text! After reading Nerdy Birdy, students practiced putting their thoughts on paper while learning an important lesson about what it means to be a good friend. 🐦💛

Great books + meaningful writing = learning that sticks! 🧡💙

Sometimes it’s okay to write on the desks…when it’s part of the lesson! ✏️📚

Mrs. Skitka’s students enjoyed using their desks as a workspace to show their math thinking. Students represented the value of numbers in standard, word, and expanded form and then drew models to demonstrate their understanding.

Who knew writing on the desks could lead to such great learning?! 🧡💙
