Fairgrounds Early Education Center

Fairgrounds Early Education Center Fairgrounds Early Education Center is part of Community Bridges' Early Education Division. Part-time and full-day care are available for your children.

Fairgrounds EEC is one of six centers operated by the Early Education Division, a program of Community Bridges. Through positive guidance, dynamic curriculum, and a bilingual program, we create a foundation for children's healthy development and school readiness. We work with children to foster: early literacy skills and a love of reading; self-awareness and self-expression; curiosity, exploration

and creativity; positive conflict resolution skills; respect for self, family, community, and the environment; diversity awareness and sensitivity. Fees are based on a sliding scale, and we offer subsidized care for qualified low-income working families. We also provide opportunities and resources for families to gain knowledge, improve parenting skills, share information, and develop leadership skills.

Every young person deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and help shape the future of their community.

On International Youth Day, we celebrate the creativity, resilience and potential of young people across the Central Coast, and the families, educators and community partners who support them.

Through early education, enrichment activities, family counseling, parenting support, nutritious food and connections to essential resources, Community Bridges helps children and young people build strong foundations for the future.

When young people are supported, entire communities grow stronger.

A strong school year begins with more than notebooks and pencils. Children learn and thrive when their families have stability, nutritious food, trusted relationships and somewhere to turn when challenges arise.

As students across our community return to school, Community Bridges is here for the whole family. Our programs connect families with early education, healthy food, parenting support, counseling, youth activities, crisis assistance and other essential resources.

No family should have to navigate a difficult season alone. When children are supported at home and in their community, they are better prepared to learn, grow and reach their potential.

International Self Care Day 💙

Self care isn't selfish. It's one of the most important investments you can make in your health and well being.

A good night's sleep. A nourishing meal. A walk outside. Setting healthy boundaries. Asking for help when you need it. Spending time with people who lift you up. These everyday choices can make a lasting difference in our physical, mental, and emotional health.

But self care isn't always something we can do alone. Sometimes, it begins with having access to the right support.

At Community Bridges, we're committed to making health and well being more accessible across Santa Cruz and Monterey counties. Whether it's affordable counseling and family support through our Family Resource Collectives, healthy foods and nutrition education through WIC, nutritious meals through Meals on Wheels, or enriching day services through Elderday that help older adults and adults with disabilities stay healthy, connected, and independent at home, these are just a few of the many ways Community Bridges supports our community every day.

Whether you're looking for support, caring for a loved one, know someone who could benefit from our services, or simply believe everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive, Community Bridges is here to help.

Father’s Day is a time to recognize and appreciate the fathers, father figures, and caregivers who show up with love, guidance, and support 💚

We honor the many ways fatherhood is expressed—through patience, sacrifice, encouragement, and care that helps shape strong families and communities.

Strong families are built through connection and support, and today we celebrate all those who help provide stability, love, and guidance in a child’s life 💚
