Only one week away for the WCHS FFA car show and Pork burger drive through make sure you come and get an amazing pork burger and look at all the cars!

Mr. Wilkey and Miss Bushong took kids to Horse Judging in Monee this past Wednesday the 25th. There they judged horses by class, and these kids placed the following in varsity; Skyler Norder - 7, Ciara Noel - 10, Payton Gowler - 22, Drake Rabe -24 out of 24. These kids placed the following in Alternative; Brayden Welch - 7, Christian Andrade - 8, David Adkins - 16, Andrew Ewers - 18 out of 19. The overall team placed 5th, it was an amazing day for all the kids.

REMINDER!!!!!

Make sure to place your WCHS FFA apparel orders on the Google form that is posted on the Unit 9 district website and the students class of pages. These are sure Friday along with money!

The form to order our chapter shirts is posted on the students class of pages on Google classroom and on the district website. You are able to fill the form out more then once, form closes and money is due on Friday the 27th to Ms. Bushong.

Exciting times! Yes we fit all 630 Dozon donuts on the bus. The donuts are organized and ready for pick up in the Ag shop.

If you are picking up

Please come to the back of the school, see. Ms. Bushong, Lauren Janssen or Jade maples with help getting your order, we will be here until 3:30

Donut Update!!

Donuts were ordered on Friday the 13th. They will get picked up on Wednesday the 18th. Donuts can/ will be sent home with students based on the size of their specific order.

If your student has a large order or does not have a way to get them home parents/guardians you may pick up the donuts for them. The donuts can be picked up anytime between 12:30-3:30 at the Ag Shop in the back of the school. Please do not go through the front office.

If unable to pick them up in that time frame please message the page and we will make arrangements to make sure you and your student receive your donut order.

This year we have decided to try something new and sell Krispy Kreme donuts. Yes we still have some beef sticks Mr. Wilkey will be selling at football games along with popcorn.

The students received their forms today to start selling donuts. If you would like some find an FFA member or message the Facebook and I we’ll get a student to you!

A dozen donuts are 10$
Students have to have money by Sept. 12 snd turn forms in by Sept. 13.

These funds will go to helping get chapter T-shirts and funding for students to go to National Convention and many other FFA events!

If you would like to support please make sure to get your donuts!!

Busy couple first days back for the Watseka FFA members. Mr. Wilkey took students to help set up for the Watseka family festival!

Make sure you go out to the festival this weekend they have some fun things planned!

Today was the First United Methodist Church Community free carnival and the Watseka FFA brought some animals for the students to see and pet during the Carnival - had a duck, a chicken, and even tank made and appearance!

Great job today girls at the fair. Kaylie Lange won reserve grand overall for her Ag Products. And Lauren Janssen showed her beef cattle. Great job ladies Mr. Wilkey and Ms. Bushong are proud of you both
