While we have removed these comments from our official page whenever possible, we cannot control comments made on all shared and cross-posted community pages.

🎄 This year has been too hot, too dry, and a little too heavy...so let's give our community something special to look forward to. 🎄

The 2026 Blaine County OHCE Holiday Bazaar & Santa's Village is taking shape for December 5, and we're looking for local vendors, makers, crafters, and small businesses who want to be part of it!

There's something special about a building full of Christmas stories, excited children, and the search for the perfect present. That's the kind of atmosphere we're hoping to create, and we'd love for you to be part of it.

✨ Vendor booths are just $30
📅 Vendor application deadline: November 13
📍 Applications available through the QR code on the flyer or at the Blaine County OSU Extension Office

🧀 Can YOUR cheese recipe reign supreme at Watonga Cheese Festival? Here's your chance to prove it.

The Watonga Cheese Festival Food Contest is BACK on Saturday, October 10, 2026, and we're looking for home cooks, bakers, youth exhibitors, families, clubs, and anyone who loves cooking with cheese!

📍 Watonga City Hall, 410 W. Main Street
⏰ Junior & Senior Division Check-In: 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.

Classes must include at least 3oz of cheese or cheese products:
🧀 Cheese Main Dish
🥦 Vegetables
🍞 Breads
🍰 Desserts
🥨 Cheese Snack
🥗 Salads & Salad Dressings

Whether you're a seasoned cook or trying a contest for the very first time, we'd love to see your favorite cheesy creation on display.

Let's help make this year's contest one of the biggest yet and bring excitement back to a longtime Cheese Festival tradition!

🎪✨ The Circus is Coming to Watonga! ✨🎪

Get ready for an evening of family fun as the Culpepper & Merriweather Great Combined Circus comes to the Blaine County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, September 30!

Two shows will be performed under a real Circus Big Top!
Showtimes: 5:00 & 7:30
Location: Blaine Co. Fairgrounds
Sponsor: Watonga Lions Club, Inc.

Tickets: Tickets can be purchased in-person at a discounted price ($14 for adults and $8 for children and seniors) before circus day from:
• Farm Bureau Insurance
• Clewell's Family Hardware
• First State Bank
• Watonga Motel
• Bank7
• Rose-Moore Gardens

Online tickets are $14.75 for adult and $8.75 for children/seniors. They will be available until 10:00 p.m the night before the circus arrives (September 29th) or until sold out.

On circus day, tickets can only be purchased at the box office and will be $17 for adults and $10 for children 2-12 and seniors 65 & up. No charge for children under the age of 2.

Buy your tickets early! You'll save money and a higher portion of the proceeds will go to support the Watonga Lions Club.

The midway opens an hour before the show featuring a full concession stand, pony rides, face painting and inflatable rides. Our 90 minute family-friendly show features Big Cats, Contortion, Aerialists, Fire Eating, Dogs, Foot Juggling, Daredevils and so much more!

🚨REMINDER! The deadline for entries for this month's "Through Your Lens" photo contest is tomorrow, SEPTEMBER 10TH!

Quick rule reminders:
✅ Photos must be taken within Blaine County, OK! Location must be included (any photos taken outside Blaine County will not be considered).
📝 Limit one photo per person!
🚫 No photos of people (or people in the background)
🔥Take photos horizontally (It fits our cover photo better!)

Photos not labeled with location or multiple entries from one person will not be considered. Blurry/out of focus photos will not be accepted.

Photos must be submitted by September 10th to be considered!
Winning photo will be posted September 13th as the Blaine County OSU Extension's cover photo for one month!
