MBMS has been named a recipient of the Exemplary Performance Award for the 2024-25 school year! This is the highest honor awarded to middle and high school band programs in Georgia and it represents the outstanding work done by our students in all areas including large group performance, district honor band, all state band, and solo and ensemble festival. Malcom Bridge was also recognized with this award in 2018.

Congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade bands for earning Superior ratings from all judges at their performance evaluation yesterday! Our students played beautifully and represented MBMS with pride. Thank you to the parents who were able to join us for the event!

Congratulations to our All-State Band members Gabriel Lim, Collin York, Emerson McMaken, Alison Zhong, and Nevee Mishra! This is a tremendous accomplishment and represents months of hard work. They will perform at the Classic Center on March 1st along with other students from all over Georgia. We are proud of you!
