🍽️ **What if the family dinner table is about more than just dinner?**

Spilled milk. Picky eaters. Busy schedules. Someone inevitably getting up three times. 😅

Family meals don’t have to be perfect to matter.

Join **Dr. Sean Brotherson** on **September 29 at noon** as we explore the **science behind eating together** and how family meals can support our overall well-being and strengthen family connections.

Because sometimes the best memories happen in the middle of the mess. ❤️

Fruit leathers are nutritious, high-energy snacks for children and adults. Fruit leathers are portable, making them convenient additions to school lunchboxes or backpacks.

The following fruits were rated as “excellent” or “good” by the University of Georgia for preparing fruit leather: apples, apricots, berries, cherries, nectarines, peaches, pears, pineapple, plums and strawberries.

Infants and young children are especially vulnerable to foodborne illness and even a small error in food preparation could cause severe illness.

Here's a few food safety tips to get started:

- Ask if the children have any special needs, allergies or necessary medications
- Wash eating areas with warm, soapy water

- Always keep young children and pets away from cooking areas

- Avoid feeding children less than 5 years old any food that is small, round and hard, such as hot dogs, whole grapes, candy, popcorn, peanuts, raw carrots, fruit seeds, apple chunks and gum
