Kiyo White ’26 has been awarded a prestigious Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Fellowship. Fulbrighters act as cultural ambassadors for the United States and assist with English language instruction in local schools. White has been assigned to co-teach in Yilan, Taiwan, a country that holds professional and personal promise for the education and psychology double major.

During Colby’s 205th Commencement ceremony, Mo Willems led a call-and-response reading of his book ‘Me and Other Bunnies,’ asking the audience to repeat his words. Jedidiah Mamah, 5, a cousin of computer science major Joshua Iyonsi ’26, went the extra mile echoing every response with his own solo call, after the audience responded with its own. Willems gave the book to Jedidiah after the speech.

Sophie Shanae Gould Dulabaum ’26 was named class marshal for the Class of 2026, an honor given to the graduating senior with the highest grade point average. Next, Gould Dulabaum will pursue a master’s degree in environmental humanities at the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society, part of the University of Munich.
