Summer HiSET Program Hours:
June 16th - July 24th on Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 1:30PM to 6:30PM

Summer MMRACE Office Hours:
Now - June 30th | Monday through Thursday at 8:30AM to 4:30PM
July 1st - July 31st | Tuesday and Wednesdays at 1:30PM to 6:30PM
August 1st - August 16th | Closed
August 17th: Return to normal operational hours ~

We will be responding to all inquiries/transcript requests (email, mail or phone) once a week, please be patient!

With a deep sadness we are sharing the loss of one of our beloved instructors: Ken Gagnon. Ken passed away on June 1st, surrounded by his family - his wife, and three daughters.

He began at Mid-Maine Regional Adult Community Education in 2012 and has taught many students over the years about Civics, History, Politics and everything between.

Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
We will greatly miss Ken's cheery demeanor, dedication to education, his jokes and his smiles that lit up both the classroom and office.

Congratulations to Maecie for completing all of her HiSET exams. Maecie came to MMRACE to work on her HiSET Diploma in order to further her education. She plans to enroll at KVCC Kennebec Valley Community College in the healthcare field and looks forward to becoming a nurse!

/ Dog Training Basics ---

This is a beginner dog training class and is designed for the young and not so young. We work in small groups with several trainers assisting. The first night will be an Orientation and Information night held on Monday, June 1 at Messalonskee High School the for the two-legged family member/s only. Your registration fee is for 1 dog and the family members who will be training the dog. You will get a helpful manual and many issues will be discussed including the commands taught such as walking on a loose leash, stay and come exercises and other techniques. On the first night, we will also discuss your behavior concerns. The four subsequent evenings with the dogs will be held at 41 Heath Street from 6:00-7:00 p.m. All dogs will need to be on a leash at all times, and NO dogs will be allowed if they are aggressive.
