It’s Mule Monday! This week meet one of our alums, Matt, Class of 2025. “To me, a liberal arts education means coming to Colby wanting to study computer science, but leaving having studied computer science, German, and math. It also means taking classes in a wide range of other subjects and gaining a much deeper appreciation for literature, art, and culture. If you had told me five years ago I would be living in Austria teaching English, I would have thought you were crazy. With a Colby education behind me and a huge support structure, I feel totally prepared to face any challenge and delve into whatever interests me. At the moment, this includes wearing lederhosen, living next to the Alps, and teaching Austria's next generation of farmers.”

Zu guter Letzt...three events to put on your calendar for the final week of the semester at Colby College. First, enjoy good food and company at the German Table on Monday. Then indulge with some holiday treats and carols under our supreme Tannenbaum (-with gifts??) on Thursday. And finally come out and support your upper level peers (and ATs) as they share their research from their Colby Center for the Arts and Humanities and supported on hunting cultures - in both poster and storymap formats - on Friday!
