We had an amazing time at our Open House, making new friends and catching up with some old ones! Our library is growing, which makes us so very happy 📚
We are still looking for more students to join Intro to French on Zoom on Wednesday at 5:15 PM and Intro to Arabic Language and Culture in-person class on Saturday at 10:00 AM, so please let your curious friends know about our offerings!
First class starts tomorrow, and we cannot wait!

Our teachers are amazing individuals, and we cannot wait for you to meet them! This week's spotlight is on Ina Alvarado 🔦

Ina is teaching the Monday 5:15 kids' Spanish class this Fall.
A couple of words from her:
"My name is Miss Ina, and I am so excited to be part of your child’s classroom! I am currently studying at Colby College, where I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree as a Psychology and Spanish double major with a minor in WGSS. I love working with children and have experience helping in both church and school classrooms. I am passionate about creating a classroom where every child feels welcome, supported, and excited to learn! In the future, I hope to earn a doctorate degree in Early Childhood Education and Development, with a focus on supporting neurodivergent and disabled children."
Ina also shared a list of things she loves ❤️:
1. Bike riding. You will often see me on my bike on my way to and from the center
2. The Soot sprites from Spirited Away
3. Formula 1 (All motorsport tbh)
4. Being able to speak English and Spanish
5. My homes: Houston, Texas, and Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico
6. Learning about children and education
7. Helping every child feel included
8. My family and our traditions
