Looking to get out of the house for a little while every once in a while? We may have just the thing for you! St. John's Lutheran School and Childcare Center in Watertown is seeking full or part-time individuals to assist other childcare staff in caring for infants and two-year-old toddlers. If you are interested in helping in a small way or a large way please reach out. This does not have to be an everyday commitment or even a full day commitment. We would gladly appreciate the help of any kind. Ways you may be involved could be changing, playing with, talking and singing to, and loving these precious children. St. John's mission is to provide high quality care and education in a loving, learning, and nurturing environment. St. John's offers competitive wages for all staff, a complimentary lunch through the school hot lunch program, and vacation benefits for full-time workers. For more information or to apply, please contact ECM Director Karla Opperman at [email protected] or call 920-261-3756.

KDI 19&20 Personal Care and Healthy Behaviors....What does this mean??? KDI stands for Key Developmental Indicators and is part of our Childcare Curriculum that we are implementing here at St. Johns. Our Highscope curriculum is a hands on learning curriculum that allows the children to work through everyday things but yet begin to develop the foundation needed for academic growth. As we continue to work together here at St. Johns and grow you will see these KDI's appear more and more. Do not hesitate to reach out and ask any questions!

KDI 19&20 Personal Care and Healthy Behaviors - This week we are learning about taking care of the bodies God gave us. We learned about taking care of our teeth and how important it is to brush our teeth! We "brushed our tooth" with puffy paint and a toothbrush.
