Founded by the Connecticut Dance Alliance in 2011, The Connecticut Classic presents a competition that is an enjoyable and educational experience for pre-professional ballet students giving the participants a stepping stone towards bigger national and international competitions. To create an environment where each student, whether an award winner or not, can leave with a real sense of personal ac
complishment and a new understanding of the artistic and technical requirements for a young ballet dancer. To provide an administration with high standards of integrity in our management of the event from the moment the students first register through to the end of the weekend.
