We’re getting ready to welcome our students back to campus, and today officially kicked off our 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸. Our teachers and staff are back together, preparing classrooms, discussing plans for the year ahead, sharing ideas, and making sure everything is ready for a great start.

There’s always something special about this week - familiar faces returning, new colleagues joining our community, and that feeling that a fresh school year is just around the corner. 🍎🏫

Our 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 has given 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 a special gift - a commemorative bench that will now become part of our campus.

It is a reminder that every graduating class leaves its mark, and the 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 will always have a special place in the history of our school. ⭐

While our 𝗟𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿, 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲, and 𝗨𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 School students are enjoying their summer break, our 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 classrooms are still full of energy.

Every day is a chance to explore, create, ask questions, make new friends, and discover something new. Through play, hands-on activities, outdoor time, music, art, and early learning, our youngest students continue building the confidence and curiosity that will stay with them for years to come.

Learning doesn't stop when the school year ends - it simply looks a little different.

A child’s education is not a collection of separate school years. Each stage builds on the one before it - from the first experience in preschool to the final years of high school. When students learn in a consistent and supportive environment, teachers understand their strengths, recognize their challenges, and help them grow academically and personally over time. 🌱

☀️ Summer is a time to relax, recharge, and make new memories. We hope all of our students are enjoying a well-deserved break and getting ready for another exciting school year.

At 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗕𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻, we are especially proud to share these videos of our students demonstrating their progress in Russian as a foreign language.
⠀
They began learning Russian from scratch, and their families are not connected to a Russian-speaking environment. That makes their progress even more remarkable. Watching them introduce themselves, speak with confidence, and sing in Russian is a wonderful reminder of what dedication, strong teaching, and consistent practice can achieve.

This year, Star Academy students took 𝗔𝗣 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺𝘀 in 16 different subjects, compared to 11 just one year ago. As our AP program continues to grow, it is encouraging to see our students maintaining a high level of achievement across a wide range of disciplines.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:

- Approximately 𝟵𝟬% of all AP exams earned a score of 3 or higher.

🎉 Our students also achieved a 𝟭𝟬𝟬% pass rate (scores of 3 or higher) in AP English Language, AP English Literature, AP European History, AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, AP Precalculus, AP Physics 1, AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism, AP French Language, AP Microeconomics, and AP Macroeconomics.

This year also marked the first AP exams in Computer Science A, European History, French Language and Culture, Physics C, and Psychology.
