WCNS was created in 1952 by a group of parents who envisioned a nursery school where their children would feel comfortable and cared for, where friendships could grow, and where positive reinforcement would be a constant. At WCNS our goal is to help children feel good about themselves and their accomplishments. We encourage individual creativity, group participation, and problem solving in everyth

ing we do. Our curriculum encourages healthy social, physical, and cognitive skills, but is first and foremost designed for fun. A cooperative spirit underlies all aspects of WCNS, and the resulting sense of community is priceless. WCNS is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, and accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), demonstrating excellence beyond state-required minimum standards.
