Watertown Youth Soccer is looking to add to our Referee Team!
Players, parents, grandparents, coaches, neighbors...ALL ARE WELCOME TO BECOME A REFEREE!

Certification and recertification reimbursement after working 5 weeks per season

Go to: massref.net - steps-to-become-referee for easy, step by step directions to become a referee – minimum age requirement, 14 y/o
Create an account, and then enroll in the online New Referee - Orientation course
Create an account on US Soccer Learning Center:
Directions are on Mass Ref, including a YouTube video for the required Supplemental Courses
Use the same email as your Mass Ref account
Complete the pre-course online study modules
Watch the video on Intro to Safe Playing Environments
Enroll in a New Referee - Field Session
If a field session is not listed on the course schedule, set up a course alert so you receive an email from MSRC whenever a new course / session is added
Go to My Status
Under Add Course Alert, select one of the following
New Referee – Indoor Field Session (2027), then click “Add Course”
New Referee – Outdoor Field Session (2027), then click “Add Course”
