🙌 A Huge Thank You to Our Amazing Community Partners! 🙌

The 8th Grade Celebration was a success, and we couldn't have done it without the incredible support of local businesses who helped create an unforgettable night for our students!

🎵 Thank you to **Brian Donato** for keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long.

🥨 Thank you to Ritcey East for providing delicious pretzels that were a big hit with our graduates.

📸 Thank you to New Englands Best Dj's and Photo Booths for the awesome photo booth experience, giving students fun memories they'll be able to look back on for years to come.

🌮 Thank you to **Caribbean Flavors Food Truck** for serving up fantastic tacos that kept everyone fueled for the festivities.

Please join us in supporting these wonderful local businesses that generously helped make this celebration so special for our 8th graders. We are grateful for your partnership and commitment to our community!

🎉 The Countdown Is On! Two Amazing 8th Grade Celebrations Are Happening Next Week! 🎉

As we get ready to celebrate the middle-school Class of 2026, we're so grateful for the incredible support from our WMS parent community. Here are a few important reminders for next week's events:

🕺 **8th Grade Party & Dance**
📅 Tuesday, June 23 | 6:00–8:00 PM

🍭 **Candy Bar Donations:** If you're contributing candy, please drop items off at the main office as soon as possible so we can take inventory and purchase any remaining items.

🎁 **Other Donations:** Please bring all donations to the main office by **2:00 PM on June 23**.

🎈 **Setup Volunteers:** We'll begin setting up immediately after school on June 23.

🎓 **Graduation Ceremony**
📅 Wednesday, June 24 | 9:30 AM

📦 **Non-Perishable Donations:** Please drop these off on June 23 and clearly label them for the "Graduation Ceremony."

🥐 **Perishable Items & Remaining Donations:** Please deliver by **8:30 AM on June 24**.

💙 Thank you for your generosity, flexibility, and willingness to pitch in. These celebrations are only possible because of our amazing families and volunteers. Let's make these final middle school memories extra special for our 8th graders!

Thank you so much to everyone who has signed up to help make Graduation Celebration a success!

We are incredibly grateful for the amazing support from our families and community. The sign-up is nearly full, and thanks to all of you, we're in great shape.

We only have a few remaining needs:

🎉 Large activity rentals (Jenga, Connect 4, inflatable basketball, or similar games). If you have access to items that can be rented through AA Rental or another source, we'd love to hear from you.

🍬 Candy Station Supplies
• Containers
• Scoops
• Bags
• Other candy display items

🍨 Approximately 200 Hoodsies

🎈 Balloon bouquets

🧹 Cleanup volunteers for:
• The Graduation Celebration on June 23
• Graduation on June 24

💙 WMS 8th Grade Parents — We Need You 💙

It’s hard to believe, but our kiddos are just weeks away from the end of their WMS journey. Soon they’ll be heading off to high school, carrying with them memories of friendships, milestones, laughter, and the moments that made middle school special.

It's incredible how much they've all learned and grown during their time at WMS.

Over the next few weeks, we have the opportunity to make their final days at WMS truly unforgettable — from the DC trip and graduation celebrations to the big end-of-year party they’ve all been looking forward to. 🎓🎉

But here’s the thing: these moments don’t happen without parent support.

We know everyone is busy. Life is full. Calendars are packed. But if every family leans in just a little, together we can create something really meaningful for our kids.

There are so many ways to help:
✨ Donate snacks or supplies
✨ Volunteer a little time
✨ Help behind the scenes
✨ Pitch in wherever you can

No contribution is too small, and every act of support helps create joyful memories our kids will carry with them long after 8th grade ends.

🎉 HUGE shoutout to all of the amazing parents and teens who helped make last weekend’s Porchfest Bake Sale such a spectacular success! 🧁☀️🎶

For one glorious day, we officially ignored the calories and focused on what really mattered — supporting the WMS PTO and our incredible school community! 💙

From baking and volunteering to buying treats and spreading the word, this event was powered by pure community spirit. And WOW, did Watertown show up! Community members were unbelievably generous all day long — rounding up their totals again and again to support our kiddos and PTO programs.

We are beyond grateful to everyone who stopped by the corner of Spring & Palfrey and helped turn a beautiful spring day into a meaningful fundraiser filled with music, laughter, cupcakes, and community connection.

Thank you for supporting the WMS PTO. We ❤️ you, Watertown!
