Fall sign up is live! I’m offering 3 classes this session. Ages ranging from 6 and up. Follow link in my bio for details and to sign up. These wonderful assembled paintings were done in the spring session, inspired by the art of Yinka Shonibare. Students considered nature, family culture, pattern, texture and design.

We had a lot of fun with this project! Inspired by the art of students used old paper, markers, stencils, colored pencils and collage to fulfill the following challenges-Include in your work: a spaceship, a secret language, line, spheres, and a gradation of shapes. I’m offering one week of summer classes. See blog for details. These gorgeous pieces are from my spring session. We experimented with scraping paint! The next week when they were dry we looked to Cezanne’s fruits for inspiration and used paint sticks to work them into our scraped paintings.
