We have some exciting news to share. 🌿

Please join us in welcoming Lauren Simons as The Treehouse’s new Director of Operations.

Lauren is a Licensed Master Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in human services including mental health special education clinical services and leadership. She is a native of the Thousand Islands area and a proud mom of four. She understands firsthand what families are looking for when they walk through our doors.

In her role Lauren will work alongside our Site Directors HR Special Education leadership and administrative team to strengthen operations and make sure our programs continue to run consistently and with the same quality our families expect.

Her leadership is grounded in collaboration connection and creating environments where children families and staff all feel valued. That fits right in here. 💛

Lauren will be spending the coming weeks getting to know our team our programs and the families we serve. If you see her around please give her a warm Treehouse welcome.

Meet Alyssa. 🌿

We are so excited to have Alyssa Faughnan as our CPSE Coordinator.

Alyssa brings a BS and MAT in Exceptional Education and a genuine passion for advocating for students and helping families navigate the special education system. She is a military spouse of 14 years who has volunteered with children and families in every community she has called home. And as a mom of five she understands firsthand what it means to show up for kids in a real and meaningful way.

We could not be more grateful to have her expertise and heart on our team. 💛

Universal Pre-K at The Treehouse is completely free for 3 and 4 year olds living within the Watertown City School District. Your child just has to turn 3 or 4 on or before December 1st.

A peek inside Miss Brittany's 4UPK class. 🌿

A calming corner stocked with sensory tools and stuffed animals. Math manipulatives spread across the carpet. A library corner for little readers. Movement breaks on the smartboard. Kids completely absorbed in what they are doing.

Slides. Sunshine. Big smiles. And a whole lot of growing happening right outside our Ohio Street doors.

Outdoor play is not just a break from learning. It is part of it. Every climb and every slide builds confidence coordination and the kind of joy that makes kids actually want to come to school.
