It has been a fun first week at ICMS! 🔬✨

Our 8th grade science classes got their new seats and jumped right into building classroom community and practicing communication skills with a fun cup-stacking challenge! 🥤🏗️

On Monday, they will build on this activity as they talk about teamwork and define what a successful classroom looks and feels like. Mrs. Landers excited to see how these students continue to grow, collaborate, and support one another throughout the year!

🎉 A Great First Day at ICMS! 🎉

It has been a busy and exciting first day at ICMS! Our students did a great job bringing the energy and focus back to the halls and classrooms of the middle school.

Mrs. Orstead’s homeroom kicked off the year with a fun STEM Challenge, where students worked together to build the tallest freestanding tower using only tin foil! 🏗️

Students did an awesome job collaborating, problem-solving, and adjusting their designs as they discovered what worked—and what didn’t!

What a great way to start the year! 💪📚

Attention Incoming 5th Grade Families!

We're excited to welcome our newest ICMS students! As your child prepares to transition to middle school, we invite all incoming 5th graders to visit the building during the week of August 10 from 8:00 AM–2:00 PM.

This is a great opportunity for students to:
-Walk their class schedule
-Find classrooms and lockers
-Get comfortable with the building layout before the first day of school
-Purchase a PE uniform and lock (if needed)

We look forward to meeting our future Timberwolves and helping make the transition to middle school a smooth and exciting experience. See you soon!

Tonight we will celebrate our 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony at 7:00 PM. Promotion will be held in the ICMS gym, and doors will open at 6:30 PM.
