The groundbreaking ceremony for the Baron Activity Center and Performing Arts Center renovation and addition at DeKalb High School, scheduled for tomorrow, Aug. 26, will be postponed due to the anticipated weather conditions.

Unfortunately, the forecast for tomorrow afternoon continues to call for thunderstorms and high winds. To ensure the safety of our guests and to allow this special event to be celebrated as planned, we have decided to postpone the ceremony.

We are already working to identify a new date and time and will share those details as soon as they are finalized.

Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to celebrating this exciting milestone with our community soon!
