Love is Alive! 💚💛

Our 2026–2027 school year theme is rooted in 1 John 4:19: “We love because He first loved us.” Throughout the year, our students and staff will focus on what it means to receive God’s love and share it through the way we learn, serve and care for one another.

We have already seen this theme come to life through Catholic Heart Work Camp, where 250 campers and adults formed 39 teams and completed more than 30 service projects throughout the Cedar Valley.

Inspired by St. Mother Teresa’s words, “Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier,” we look forward to seeing God’s love continue to grow throughout our schools and community this year.

Columbus Catholic was recognized in the Iowa High School Blood Drive Competition, placing 2nd in Class 2A with 127 units donated during the school year!

Congratulations to our National Honor Society students who help plan and run our blood drives, and thank you to all of the students, staff, and community members who donated. Your generosity makes a lifesaving difference!

Our next blood drive will be Wednesday, September 16 at CHS.
