A group of local musicians and friends are putting the first Monroe County Music Fest together at Fountain Inn on July 22nd. Wristbands are being sold at all First National Banks in Monroe County and at our office. The bands are also selling them. The cost is a suggested donation of $10 per person. What a cool girl! Great job, Mia. Keep soaring!

One Gibault Hawk is really taking flight! Gibault student Mia Petruso completed her first solo flight at the age of 16 at the St. Louis Downtown Airport on May 13 with a dozen friends and family watching. Mia has been flying with her flight instructor, Master Pilot Diane Earhart, since March 2023 and will continue her flight training with cross-country flights, night flights, and further solo flights throughout the summer. Mia’s training was made possible through a Ray Aviation Scholarship.

We are now actively looking for host families for students coming to Gibault for the 2022-23 school year. So far, we are expecting a girl from Germany, a boy from Germany, and a girl from Thailand, but there will be more added to that list in the coming weeks. It's an amazing experience to host an exchange student and a great way to bring the world to your front door. Would you consider becoming a host? Send us a message for more information!

Impact the lives of students around the globe!

Local Coordinators meet the international students upon their arrival in the country. They explain our program rules, and ensure the students understand what is expected of them. Coordinators are responsible for checking in with the students at least once a month and acting liaison for both students and host families, particularly in terms of conflict resolution. They also recruit, interview and vet potential host families. Local Coordinators create a lasting relationships with students and host families!
