🍭 INTRODUCING THE CANDY MONSTERS! 🍬

Help us stock up for Trunk or Treat! Please help by donating large bags of candy/trinkets to help us supply the event. Students can “feed the monster” the donations at each school. Please have donations dropped off no later than Wednesday, October 21st.

Shout out to our creative Fox River Student Council for creating the monsters!

If you are at the parade tomorrow, keep an eye out for our WGSD teachers! They will have some fun surprises to pass out, provided by the PTO! 💚🖤🏈

The homecoming parade is tomorrow, Friday October 9 from 5:30pm-6:30pm. Police will shut down the road starting around 5:15pm. Below is the parade route for those who would like to attend!

💚 WE ARE OFFICIALLY SHARING WESTEN’S LIVING LIVER DONOR CRITERIA. 💚

This is a post I never imagined I would have to make, but we are officially at the point in Westen’s transplant journey where we can share exactly what his transplant team is looking for in a potential living liver donor.

We know this is a BIG ask, but we also know that somewhere out there may be someone who is willing to take a chance, get tested, and potentially give our little boy the greatest gift imaginable — a chance at a healthy life.

🫶🏼 LIVING LIVER DONOR CRITERIA:

• Age: 18–59 years old
• Weight: 121 lbs or less (55 kg)
• Blood Type: A or O
• BMI: Less than 25
• Location: Wisconsin residents only

If you meet these basic criteria and have ever thought about becoming a living donor for Westen, please consider filling out the confidential donor evaluation form. The transplant team will determine whether you are medically eligible — you do NOT need to know for certain if you can donate before submitting the form.

We have some amazing news to share —

Westen’s exception for his PELD score was officially APPROVED! 🙏🏼💚

His PELD score is now 31 by exception, which is a huge step forward in his deceased transplant listing.
