Hello again everyone,
As promised I’m back with additional info regarding the family affected by yesterday’s fire in Waterford.

As for clothing donations:
there will be 2 designated days and times for intake at the Knights of Columbus here in Waterford.
Tomorrow (Friday) 12-2pm and 4-7pm, and again on Monday 12-2pm and 4-7pm. If you wish to donate but these days and times aren’t convenient for you, please reach out to me and we can schedule a day and time where I’ll come to you to pick up.
**There will be a monetary donation jar set up during the clothing drop off times for instant financial assistance that’s needed.

There is also a donation account set up with Pioneer Bank in Waterford as well as accounts set up through Venmo and Cash App for everyone’s convenience. Both the Venmo and Cash App accounts are linked to the donation account at Pioneer. The decision to have these accounts set up is to ensure the family receives every dollar donated and not have to worry about the percentages/fees that Go Fund Me takes off the top.

-A Go Fund Me account was recently established by a family member, which is another way contribute if more convenient.
-I’m aware of a couple other locations willing to take in clothing donations which is very appreciated and also perfectly fine to drop off to- again, what ever is most convenient. I’ll be coordinating with those places to pick up those donated items to keep everything organized and keep the community up to date of what we have and what’s still needed. Currently I know of the Salon on Broad Street and the Day Care Center across from Stewart’s are both on board for clothing intake.

As for clothing needs:
Lyra- 4t clothes, size 9 children’s shoes
Davindra- L/XL tops and bottoms, size 11 men’s shoes
Donald- XL/2XL tops and bottoms, waiting on confirmation of correct show size and will update as soon as I have it.

The donation account at Pioneer Bank will be in full swing after my appointment tomorrow morning to submit my DBA information to them in order to finalize the donation account created. It will be under the name “Waterford Cares” and I’ll provide the account number once given.

**Both of these accounts are the same accounts I’ve used for the last 4 years to take in monetary donations with the free Thanksgiving Dinner for the Waterford Community organization I’ve created, as well as the name “Waterford Cares” for that organization. So if possible please include “Waterford Cares” when donating by Venmo and Cash App. All funds will be electronically transferred to the Pioneer Bank donation account.

Lastly, everything I’ve posted has been at the request of Lyra’s grandmother’s Bett and according to her wishes. I know there’s been confusion recently that’s currently being sorted out behind the scenes, but per Bett and in her own words to me:
“I haven't had enough time to catch up ,, so many people calling and texting ,, I'm in way over Mt head” and asked me to “please take the reins” so she can focus on each family member’s health.
