Play allows children to begin to understand their world and their place in the world. It encourages thinking and real life problem solving. It allows children to communicate in small and large groups. It allows children to simplify and begin to deal with complex events in their lives. It allows the beginning of understanding symbols and their meanings. Play allows for the development of language, social, emotional, physical and cognitive skills. Christian Values:
Time is set aside each day for prayer before meals and snacks. “Thank you God for our food, family and friends” Occasionally, we will read bible stories and enjoy Christian music. We will share a message common to all denominations, that every child is special because God created them and God loves everyone equally, regardless of their race or culture.

Tomorrow evening, we're proud to host Girl Scout Troop 1263 and their School Supply Drive, and we'd love your help!

Before you stop by the Waterford Creamery, take a quick look at your back-to-school shopping list and see if you can add one extra item to your cart. A pack of crayons, notebooks, pencils, folders, glue sticks, or markers may seem small, but together they can make a big impact for local students.

Cross Lutheran Church is once again opening its doors to the community for a Free Clothing Giveaway & Community Outreach on Saturday, August 8.

Families are invited to browse free clothing for all ages, coats, shoes, baby items, toys, and children's books. Everything is free, and everyone is welcome.

At Love, INC., we're grateful to partner with churches like Cross Lutheran that are committed to serving our neighbors through practical acts of kindness.
