Congratulations to our attendance winners for the month of August. Mrs. Rojas's students had the best attendance for kindergarten, and Mrs. Costales's class had the best attendance for 1st grade. Next week, we'll be celebrating the attendance winners for 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and TK. Stay tuned!!!

It was a wonderful night of connection at Back to School Night! 🧡 We loved sharing dinner and helpful resources, playing games, spending time together, and showing off our new classrooms. Thank you to all of our families who joined us!

We hope you can join us for Back to School Night on Tuesday!

Campus gates will open early at 4:30 p.m. for families to enjoy complimentary hot dog meals, face painting, activities, and community resources. Mrs. Romero and school staff will share important school information, including what it means to be a Title I program. Families will also have an opportunity to view one of our new classrooms.

All classrooms will open at 5:00 p.m. for families to meet with their child’s teacher.

Amanda Wilson, Director of Communications and Community Engagement, and Maria Salud Ramirez, Mental Health and Family Resource Liaison, will be available at the district information tables to connect families with helpful resources and support. If your family is experiencing financial hardship and your child needs new shoes for school, please stop by and share their name and shoe size. We will do our best to provide shoes at the beginning of the school year based on donated sizes and availability. **Shoes are not guaranteed, as our supply depends entirely on donations received.** If your family needs support in other areas, please let us know. We are here to help connect you with available resources.

We can’t wait to welcome all our MoonCubs back on Monday! 🐾

As we kick off the new school year, please give yourselves plenty of extra time in the morning. Traffic is typically heavier during the first week of school, so planning ahead will help make arrival a little smoother for everyone.

A few important reminders:
🐾 Monday through Wednesday are minimum days with dismissal at 12:25
🐾 Back to School Night is Tuesday the 11th, starting at 4:30pm
