The Friendship School is a public school with admission determined by lottery.

Mission Statement

The Friendship School is a leading magnet school for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten aged children that partners with families to foster kindness and a life-long love of learning through exploration, curiosity, and leadership. The lottery is open to all students who are at least 3 years old by Aug 31 of the starting school year. We have a wide range of special education and re

lated services and supports, NAEYC and NEASC accreditation, and a team of dedicated CT certified teachers and school leaders. Our Anchors of Learning
