City Mission Schools is growing! ✝️📚
We currently have a few student openings in 1st grade, 2nd grade, 8th grade, and high school!
We are also looking for a part-time high school teacher. While we are not yet in a position to offer a salary, we can provide a small stipend. This position would be a great fit for someone who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is committed to teaching from a Christ-centered, biblical perspective.
City Mission Schools is a Christian school in Waterbury with small class sizes and an individualized education model. Our goal is to equip students both academically and spiritually, helping them grow in their areas of need while learning and living according to the ways of the Lord.
If you’re interested in enrolling your child, know someone who may be a good fit for our high school teaching position, or simply want to learn more about City Mission Schools, please reach out! 💙

Would their budgeting strategies still work? Did their dream destinations stay within reach? Were their financial decisions a success—or would they make different choices now?

🚗 Summer Suds 💦
When the temperatures rise, water table breaks become a classroom favorite! During the school year, students enjoyed a refreshing reset between reading and math by rolling up their sleeves and washing toy cars. This hands-on activity provided a fun way to cool off, practice teamwork, and recharge before diving back into learning.
Sometimes a little water and a lot of smiles are exactly what's needed for a successful day!

🌱 Garden Growth 🌱
After starting plants from seeds, students learned how to support growing plants, prune to help prevent disease, and care for the health of the soil. They even discovered earthworms and explored the important role these tiny helpers play in creating a thriving garden ecosystem.
Through hands-on learning and plenty of teamwork, our young gardeners gained a deeper appreciation for the science and responsibility behind growing healthy plants.
