Bravo Waterbury Playing Music, Building Futures Bravo takes place right after school 4 days a week 3 hours a day.

Bravo Waterbury is a dynamic intensive music education program of Waterbury Symphony Orchestra in Waterbury, Connecticut for under-served children in their neighborhood. Bravo is an El Sistema inspired program that will address the various social, mental, and physical challenges that are occurring in their lives, and teach them to persevere through those situations. Choir, Bucket Band, Instrumental Exploratory Class, Academic Enrichment, Nutrition and Movement make up the Program Structure of Bravo. We believe that by pursuing musical excellence in a safe and positive environment, students will push themselves to be better individuals and eventually go back into their various neighborhoods and influence those that surround them. We also believe that with a rigorous structured musical environment, the students will develop confidence, independence, and a sense of pride within their own community. All of these aspects of Bravo will spark the social change in the Waterbury community thus creating a culture of acceptance, courage, and strength for the future.
