Wednesday's Warrior: 10-year-old Waterbury student collects over 5K snacks for local families Meet 10-year-old Drew Baker of Waterbury. He loves music-whether he's jamming out on the drums or taking the spotlight on stage singing and playing the keyboard.

Members of the Wendell Cross Class of 1964 came to visit the new and improved Wendell Cross School last week. They plan to hold a reunion soon!

Waterbury Public Schools has four students scheduled to compete in the 2024 New Haven County National Civics Bee Competition on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at Waterbury City Hall. The first-of-its-kind county-wide event is being hosted by the Waterbury Regional Chamber.

WPS representatives are:

This is a free event for the public to attend and encourage these students and all 15 county finalists.
