Want to do a dinner out or get take out and benefit a local organization at the same time? Come to American Flatbread of Stowe TODAY (8/27) for a Benefit Bake to support The Children's Room! Order between the hours of 11:30 am and 9:00 pm at the Stowe American Flatbread, and they will donate $3.50 for every large flatbread and $1.75 for every small flatbread sold, dine in or take out:). The Children's Room has been a long-standing community resource for young children and their families.

GIANT thank you for our community's support in our two recent fundraisers: The Tag Sale and the Benefit Plant Sale at Evergreen Gardens of Vermont!

HUGE thank you to all those who volunteered for the Tag Sale or came to shop at the Tag Sale and BIG thanks so the Wesley UMC for hosting us- we met our fundraising goal, helped families pass on gear and get new (to them) gear, and we got some great clothes and items to families who needed them.

BIG thank you to Evergreen Gardens of Vermont from The Children's Room of Waterbury for hosting our Benefit Plant Sale again this year. It was a great success, and we exceeded our fundraising goals- many thanks to all the awesome Evergreen employees and owners, Julia and Phil!

The Tag Sale is on and rolling! We'll be open until 12:00 pm today and there's still TONS of good stuff. (If you swing by between 12 and 2, we may still be here....) Stuff a bag of clothes for $10! Our infamous Children & Family Tag Sale is happening this week! We start collecting donations TODAY- Tuesday through Thursday, 2:30 to 5:30 pm, and the sale is on Friday (2:00 pm to 6:00 pm) and Saturday (8:00 am to 12:00 pm), all at the Wesley UMC Church at 56 South Main Street in Waterbury Village. We still need more volunteers to help with collection, sorting, working the sale and cleaning up. We take volunteers, middle school through adult- if you or a friend or family member can help- many thanks!

Benefit Plant Sale runs 4:00-6:00 pm today at Evergreen Gardens- 15 Cabin Lane off Route 100 North in Waterbury Cetner! Come check out the wonderful array of hanging baskets, plants, and gardening supplies at Evergreen Gardens! They are donating 15% of the sales to The Children's Room:).

Need Mother's Day flowers? Or plants, trees, seeds, soil and gardening supplies? Come to the Children’s Room Benefit Plant Sale at Evergreen Gardens on Route 100 in Waterbury Center THIS FRIDAY (5/8) from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. We will be raffling off an Evergreen Garden's blueberry plant and a skin care package from Twincraft (valued at $130)! Evergreen Gardens graciously donates 15% of the sales directly to The Children's Room.

Join us for two events today:
Saturday Storytime & Songs at the Waterbury Public Library with Miss Heather and Miss Sandra! The fun starts at 10:30 am in SAL room. Ages 0 to 6. Siblings welcome.

The River of Light Parade in Waterbury Village: The parade starts at Brookside Primary School at 5:00 pm, making it's way down Stowe Street to Main Street to Dac Rowe athletic fields. Watch the parade or join in if your family made a lantern. There will be hot chocolate, bonfires and firetwirlers too!

The Annual River of Light Lantern Parade is a favorite community event for all ages in downtown Waterbury Vermont. A procession of enchanting lighted paper lanterns fill the streets.

The Children's Room is in its 41st year as a go-to social hub for families and caregivers with young children in Central Vermont. TCR has set record-breaking numbers in events, programs, and room visits for the THIRD straight year in a row! As we head into this season of giving, we ask for your financial support. Receiving no state or federal funding, and offering FREE programming, TCR is a grassroots organization that relies on individual donations to keep this beloved nonprofit alive. Please consider a donation this year to support our important work helping young families thrive.
