Our Sorors were honored to join Waterbury Youth Services in kicking off their annual Back To School Rally yesterday! 🎒📚❤️

“Education is the torch of wisdom.” 🔥📖

Through service, partnership, and volunteerism, we are committed to helping our youth enter the school year feeling prepared, confident, and supported. Our Sorors showed up to lend a helping hand, engage with families, support the event, and pour into the next generation.

We believe that when we volunteer, serve, and invest in our community, we help illuminate the path to a brighter future. ❤️🤍

Social Action in motion. ❤️🤍

Our Sorors showed up in service at the Brass City Jazz Festival, engaging community members in meaningful conversations about the power of voting, sharing voter education resources, and helping eligible individuals register to vote.

Service doesn’t stop at the meeting. It happens wherever our community gathers. When Delta women show up, we serve with purpose, lead with impact, and continue the legacy of advocacy and civic engagement.

Voting is more than a right. It’s our voice, our power, and our responsibility. ❤️

Forward With Fortitude 🤍

As we wrap up an incredible sorority year, we are excited to celebrate our Delta GEMS and Delta Academy participants with a special Tea Party! ♥️☕

Throughout the year, our young ladies engaged in meaningful activities designed to empower, educate, and inspire. They created vision boards to set goals for their future, explored entrepreneurship and business leadership, and enhanced their etiquette and social skills. We are incredibly proud of their growth, confidence, and commitment to excellence.

The Delta Academy and Delta GEMS programs are signature initiatives of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. that focus on academic achievement, personal development, leadership, and service. Delta Academy serves young women ages 11–14, helping them navigate adolescence while building confidence and life skills. Delta GEMS (Growing and Empowering Myself Successfully) serves young women ages 14–18, preparing them for success through college and career readiness, leadership development, and community engagement.

Congratulations to all of our participants on a successful year! We look forward to seeing the amazing things you will continue to accomplish. ❤️🔺

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, our chapter gathered for one more walk before summer—and not even the rain could stop us. ☔❤️

Sisterhood is medicine for the soul.

In the laughter, fellowship, rainy walk, and coffee conversations, we poured into one another in ways that protect our mental health and remind us that we are never alone. Our abs hurt more from laughing than from the walk itself, and that kind of joy is healing.

Moments like these remind us that wellness isn’t just about self-care—it’s also about community, connection, and having people who walk beside you through every season, rain or shine.
