Our Staycations theme week proved that you don’t have to travel far to have amazing adventures! The children explored an exciting safari, relaxed at the beach, experimented at our bubble science center, celebrated the colorful world of Disney’s Coco, and ended the week with a fun filled luau. It was a week full of imagination, discovery, and smiles as we traveled the world without ever leaving preschool!

Our little campers had an unforgettable week during our Adventures in Camping theme! The children loved gathering around our pretend campfire to enjoy a delicious s’mores snack and share lots of smiles. Along the way, we learned about busy ants at a picnic, curious bears, and the magical glow of fireflies on a summer evening. It was a week filled with hands on learning, imagination, and wonderful camping memories!!

Thank you to another fun year of Cyril the Sorcerer transporting us to a mystical and magical land!!

Our Pre-K students used clay to create a pet they would choose to have. They used their imaginations and worked hard to shape and add details to their animals. This fun activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, and conversations about caring for pets.

Your summer self does not want to hear this, but Fall 2026 is right around the corner. 😂

Country Garden Preschool celebrated the 250th birthday of the United States with a patriotic 4th of July parade! Our children proudly marched in their festive red, white, and blue attire while dressed as George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Uncle Sam, the Statue of Liberty, and Captain America, to the sounds of Stars and Stripes Forever, This Land Is Your Land, and Party in the U.S.A. The smiles, music, and patriotic spirit made for a wonderful celebration. We topped off the fun with a delicious ice cream treat for everyone!

Our little ones have spent the past few weeks making decorations and getting ready for their very own Fourth of July parade! 🇺🇸✨

This is exactly what childhood should look like and we are so proud to be the place where these memories are made. Happy early Fourth of July from our whole Country Garden family to yours! 💛🎆

As part of our Superheroes week, we were thrilled to welcome the Waterbury Mounted Police to Country Garden Preschool! These amazing officers and their beautiful horses are real-life superheroes who work hard to keep our community safe. Our students were excited to meet them, pet the horses, and see them up close- a truly unforgettable experience! A big thank you to the Waterbury Mounted Police for making our superheroes week so special and inspiring the children to appreciate the everyday heroes in our community.
