🍎🍏 Apple Day in Kindergarten! 🍏🍎

Our kindergarten classes had a delicious day of learning today with Apple Day! ❤️

Students put their taste buds to the test by sampling three different kinds of apples and then used their results to create a graph and find out which apple was the class favorite! 📊🍎

And the winner was… 🥁🥁🥁

✨ LUCY GLO APPLES! ✨

These extra-special apples might look yellow on the outside, but cut them open and—SURPRISE!—they’re RED on the inside! ❤️🍎 Our kindergarteners thought they were pretty tasty, too!

We love seeing our littlest Chargers learning through hands-on experiences, trying new things, and having a little fun along the way! ⚡️❤️💛

What a sweet way to celebrate Apple Day! 🍎🍏

📣 WRE FAMILIES — WE NEED YOUR HELP! 📣

October is National Principals Month, and the Keller ISD Education Foundation is looking for Keller ISD’s Favorite Principal! We may be a little biased 😉, but we think our very own Ms. Bradshaw deserves to WIN BIG! 💙⚡️

Ms. Bradshaw pours so much love, energy, and heart into Whitley Road every single day. She celebrates our Chargers, supports our teachers and staff, shows up for our families, and is always willing to go the extra mile for WRE — even if that means letting students TAPE HER TO A WALL for an attendance celebration! 😂👏

Now it’s our turn to show up for HER! 🫶

⭐ Nominate Ms. Annah Bradshaw for Keller ISD’s Favorite Principal!
⭐ Tell them what makes her such an incredible principal and why she deserves to win!
⭐ Scan the QR code on the graphic to submit your nomination.
⭐ Nominations are due Wednesday, October 21st!

Let’s show everyone just how much our Charger community loves and appreciates Ms. Bradshaw! ⚡️💙

WRE families, let’s flood those nominations! 🥳🙌

City crews will evaluate conditions at approximately 6:30 AM Thursday and reopen the intersection when it is safe to do so.

The intersection may also be closed during periods of heavy rain throughout the week.

Please plan an alternate route and do not drive around barricades.

🎉⚡️ ATTENDANCE PAYS OFF AT WRE! ⚡️🎉

Today was our attendance incentive, and our Chargers got a reward they won’t soon forget… they got to TAPE MS. BRADSHAW TO THE WALL! 😂🩹

Our students have been working hard to show up, be on time, and make every school day count—and today we got to celebrate that commitment in a BIG (and very sticky!) way!

Piece by piece, the tape went up until Ms. Bradshaw was officially stuck! 🤣👏 We’re pretty sure our Chargers have never been this excited about attendance!

We love finding fun ways to celebrate our students and remind them that every day at school matters. Thank you to our families for helping us get our Chargers here, ready to learn each day! ❤️💛⚡️

And a HUGE shoutout to Ms. Bradshaw for being such a good sport! We have a feeling the students will be talking about this one for a while! 😂
