Welcome to EXCEL 11!

We’re excited to welcome our 11th grade students back for 10 days of learning, exploring, and preparing for what comes next.

Throughout this session, students will build career and professional skills through corporation meetings, interviews, resumes, job applications, and career planning. They’ll also visit college and training campuses, giving them the opportunity to explore different pathways and picture what their next steps could look like.

Along the way, they’ll work through real life skills like budgeting, meal planning, housing, transportation, and the cost of education, building confidence and independence as they prepare for life after high school.

There’s a lot packed into these 10 days, but at the heart of it is something simple: giving students the time, space, and experiences to think about where they want to go and helping them take meaningful steps toward getting there.

We’re excited to see what our students discover, learn, and accomplish during this session. Check back later this week for an update on what our EXCEL 11 students have been up to!
