Join us this Saturday for our Bike Rodeo!

This Saturday, September 26! Bring your bikes and your family and get ready for some Fall Fun! Bike the Cottonwood loop with your family before the snow flys! We’ll have a bike decorating station, sidewalk chalk, bubbles and more! This is a FREE PTO family event! Light concessions will be available for cash purchase only. We hope to see you there! Any parents who wish to volunteer, should arrive by noon!

Our PTO is holding a winter gear drive to help all our families!

‘Tis the season! We’re all emptying out our winter closets, getting rid of what doesn’t fit and making room for new gear! Bring your gently used winter coats, snow pants, hats, gloves and boots to our Gear Drive! Starting today, September 8 through October 16. Drop your donations in the bins in the front entryway. Cottonwood families will then have the opportunity to “shop” the donations for FREE at our Halloween carnival on October 24! Any leftover donations will go to a local children’s charity! ☃️

PTO News

Our PTO has some fun events planned for this year! We will be hosting some familiar favorites and also have some new events to look forward to!

Most anticipated is probably Popcorn Friday! Popcorn Friday will be returning next week on Friday, September 11. We are excited to announce that popcorn will be provided to all students at no cost this year!

We still need volunteers to help pop and serve the popcorn. Volunteer hours are Fridays from 9:15 am until about 1:30 pm. Sign up sheet is located in the office if you're willing and able to help. Thank you!

As a reminder our PTO meets the first Tuesday of every month after school in the library. Next meeting will be October 6. Hope to see you then!

Emergency Preparedness Family Night:
Thursday, October 8 from 6:00-8:00 pm
Enjoy presentations from multiple agencies and learn how to prepare your family for success in case of an emergency

Permission Slips & Payments
For this school year ALL permission slips will be done on paper only. Payments may be made online in School Pay or cash/check can be taken in the office.

This applies for all activities, field trips and sports. Both permission slips and payment must be collected in order for your child to participate.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Cross Country has started! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

There is still room for more runners! Cross Country is open to 4th and 5th grade students.

📅 Practices: Tuesdays & Thursdays
⏰ 8:15–9:00 AM
🏁 Race Day: September 30th

If your child would like to participate, stop by the front office to pick up a permission slip. Payment and a completed permission slip must be turned in before students can participate.
