First graders in Mrs. Reindl’s class created some great murals of Mrs. Cyr, Miss Jaida and Mr. Taco as they learned about murals and our community! I must say I see the resemblance!!😀💜

It is a PLC Monday, so Tanaina students need to arrive at 10:05 as school starts 10:15.
Buses will run one hour later.
Students will still be released at 3:45.

What a day for our staff BBQ!! After two days back to school with students on some of the hottest days we have had all summer, it was nice to sit back, relax and enjoy some casual conversation and great bbq chicken! Thanks John!!

Thank you to all of our parents, staff and students for a wonderful first day of school! Students were smiling and teachers were leading the way!

With so many new families and new drop off and pick up procedures, we all did a great job and we know tomorrow will be even better!

Thank you to those reporting bee/wasp nests on our play ground.
We have taken care of them as we get reports and any new ones we hear of, two more of them just this morning. (The ones we know of).

Please keep letting us know via messenger what you see and specifically where. We appreciate your information!!

Tanaina Families,
If you have not registered your student(s) for the new year yet, please take the time complete this.

Office staff go back to school next week and classes will be solidified in the following days. We don’t want to miss your children on the rosters.

We want to make sure classes are balanced as well as make sure that we have the numbers expected to keep all of our assigned staff.

We will look at the class sizes from our boundary students before we accept new boundary exemptions so we keep class sizes at a decent size. So we need all boundary students to be registered for school as soon as possible.
