All MSBSD schools will have a remote learning day tomorrow Tuesday, December 13th due to the winter storm that brought widespread heavy snowfall and snow drifts creating hazardous road conditions for transportation throughout the Valley.

UPDATE: School sponsored high school activities are able to occur on Tuesday, December 13th during their regularly scheduled time. These activities are optional and families are encouraged to consider current road conditions before choosing to participate. Several elementary and middle school parking lots have not been cleared at this time. District high school parking lots have been cleared but additional snow has accumulated and access may be challenging.

Additionally, tonight’s Joint Mat-Su Borough Assembly and School Board Meeting will be canceled.

Great Places has made the decision to CLOSE today, Monday December 12th due to safety concerns caused by the on going winter storm. Thank you to our families for understanding and stay safe today.

REMOTE LEARNING DAY: MON 12/12
All schools will a have remote learning day Monday, December 12th due to the winter storm that has brought poor visibility, snow drifts and is forecasted to bring widespread heavy snowfall throughout the evening and early morning creating hazardous road conditions for morning busing and travel.

All after school activities are cancelled today, as well.

Great Places will delay opening until 8 AM this morning. Please drive carefully!

Due to the road conditions from winter weather throughout the Valley, it is a remote learning day for all MSBSD schools today. All school activities are also cancelled today.
