🥁 Drum roll please……
Annie the Nanny is extremely excited to announce, ANNIE THE NANNY in home daycare coming soon! 🫶🏻
It’s a process, but by 2025 (but maybe sooner, it’s a process!) we are hoping to have a in home daycare space built onto our home property so I can run an in home daycare! I am looking into the proper licensing and such for that, and I am so excited for this future journey! We will offer full time, part time, slope slots & drop in care. More info to come. 🫶🏻🎀 This wouldn’t be possible without my super supportive husband (James Mergens) and you guys! I cannot wait to share more information soon with you.

Happy Easter from yours truly, Annie the Nanny! 🫶🏻🐰🤍

“I will let them be little. Fill them with laughter. Help them grow their wings. Nurture their sense of wonder. Inspire them to believe. And love them like there is no tomorrow.” 🤍
It’s extremely difficult to explain how deep is my love for these children; there aren’t enough words or expressions that can be used to describe what its like to love a child so deeply without them coming from your belly. All I can say is I love them beyond what anyone can imagine.
Helping to raise other peoples children is an experience for a lifetime, but not every day is easy. In fact, most days are very difficult when you have small humans saying they don’t want milk mixed with Cheerios - that you have to put the drink in a separate green cup. It can be as stressful as parenting - when everybody is ready to leave but we can’t find the pink bow that matches the baby’s clothes and then…. everyone is late. And I don’t even want to talk about the whining! The days were often long and exhausting. But I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Thank you to everyone I’ve ever nannied/babysat for and anyone who I will nanny & babysit for. Thank you for trusting me with your crazies. Thank you for letting me love them & have a hand in raising them. Thank you to the kids for being the best ever and letting me love you.

I've always thought that nannying is a little sneak peek at what motherhood is going to be like, probably because I internally tell myself, "When I'm a mother I will never..." at least three times a day while nannying.
With that being said, from my experience, I now know that I should say, "thank you" to my mother a lot more than I do because it is not as easy as it looks. For right now though I'll stick with just being a nanny. 😂
To the kids I watch, thank you for making my days full of endless entertainment, joy, and craziness. Of course, thank you also for never failing to create a 60-second snapstory on my phone, and I know, for a fact, that my followers would be greatly disappointed if they didn't get to watch it 😉
I may raise my voice and act mad at you, but it's all out of love, and maybe a little bit of anger because you really shouldn't go play with your food on your moms white rug, but mostly love. 💗

ABOUT ANNIE THE NANNY 🤍🌸
For those of you who don’t know me, hi! I’m Annie, aka Annie the Nanny! I started Annie the Nanny years ago during the beginning of quarantine, when I was watching 7 kids pretty much M-F and homeschooling them, but my experience dates back to when I was only 12! I’m now 24 years old. 🫣 but I have been around kids since longer than that - my neighbor had an in home daycare I periodically helped with & my mom watched kids in our home when I was growing up.
I took some time off from nannying to pursue some other things, but my heart is telling me to be with the kids.
I enjoy fishing, camping, and overall just being outdoors. ☀️ I live in Wasilla with my husband, 3 crazy dogs, & my chickens. 🐓
I have experience from ages newborn - 15 years old. Kids with special needs & allergies, and pretty much anything in between. 🤷🏻♀️
I am open to any questions — feel free to ask them below to get to know a little bit more about me. I’m an open book. 🤍

Annie the Nanny has a big announcement coming soon! Who’s excited? 🤍🌸
Alaska friends!
I have big plans on opening my own daycare when I’m done with school. However, I don’t want to be a typical 9-5 daycare.
I want to be one that caters to the people with weird schedules, commuters, early mornings, late nights, weekend jobs.
It’ll be a bit of course because I’m finishing school before doing this - but I’m curious, what kind of hours/days would you need or look for in a daycare? (Even if you don’t need childcare, I’d love your input on the kind of hours and days you work)
