Helping a family right now navigate their IEP renewal and the school is completely shutting them down. Every concern ignored. Every request denied. If this is your situation document everything. Then escalate starting with school admin, then the SpEd district director (or equivalent) and ultimately the superintendent if needed. Often times districts will also have a civil rights coordinator you can speak with them too. I hate to tell you but sometimes you have to make a lot of noise to get a response. Keep calling, keep emailing, keep showing up. You will always be their best advocate. Hang in there ❤️

I am competitive by nature, but I never feel like a win for me is a loss for you. I am only looking at how I perform. It’s truly me versus me, and this has been quite the experience coming back after such a long hiatus.
