****NOTICE: BUSINESS CLOSING****

Dear Darling’s Daycare Family & Friends –

I am sorry to announce that Dear Darling’s Daycare has come to the difficult decision to close my doors permanently after 12 years of business in our Washougal WA community.

This was not an easy choice for our family to make, however necessary & time to open doors to the next chapter of my career path.

We have made so many lifelong friendships from my childcare business and I love that I have continued to watch all the children grow up as the years past from the friendships we have all built along the way!

My last day of business will be Halloween Day, October 31, 2024.
My current enrolled families’ children will have a special treat that day and we will be working on an adorable keepsake craft for their families to enjoy!

Thank you all for your support the last 12 years! We couldn’t have done it without you all!

I still am willing to take emails and messages for any families needing help finding resources and local amazing licensed providers in our area! I may not be as quick to respond after my official last day, but I am happy to help while I can!

Kindergarten Round Ups are next week, May 15, at 4:30 - 5:30 pm! Families of children turning 5 years old by September 1 are invited to tour their child's future elementary school, meet the staff, and plan for next school year.

December has been in full swing of Holiday fun crafts to bring home along with adorable keepsakes for parents!

We sure are having a blast being creative!
These kiddos make my heart happy and they all make me laugh alot!.

Wednesday this week we will have another fun interative game to play and make a special treat!

Thursday we are having our very own Pajama day followed by a movie and popcorn!

Hello my Dear Darlings Families and Community!

As some of you may have heard, COVID seems to be hitting our community & schools pretty hard right now and many other areas.

Ironically I was notified today by my mom that the government has once again reinstated ordering 1 free pack of covid tests (4 tests per pack) per household in the US!

You are able to order as of today 9/25/2023 and I am hoping again 1 time per month thereafter until they stop this program again.... (thats how they had it set up for at least a year last time it was offered so hopefully it will continue for a while again).

On the link below you can sign up to get your shipment, it also has a link to look up any tests you have in your home already to determine expiry date as some have been extended. It lists out quite a bit of different manufacturing brands of tests for ease if info in one place. (Brand, lot number, exp dates etc...)

I wanted to share this with you all, so you are able to order them and have on hand vs needing to purchase in case of illness symptoms now or in the future.

Hi Parents!

Dear Darling’s has only 1 rare opening left for part time Child Care this fall/winter.

I am a licensed home child care provider, licensed since 2012.

We do lots of hands on learning, arts crafts/painting/coloring, prek activities such as but not limited to cut/paste, painting, letter and number tracing, counting, sorting, pattern practice etc..along with child lead learning and exploring!

Criteria:
Must be 2 years of age or older at time of enrollment.
Days openings will be available: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
Hours: 7am-4pm
Location: Washougal, Sunset Ridge Neighborhood
Enrollment Date: November 1st, 2023 or after.
