5th Grade had a Cerealously Amazing Breakfast to celebrate a Cerealously Amazing School Year. 🎉

It was wall signing day for 5th grade!

Congratulations to Eva Rose for being selected as a winner of Little Inventors. It was wonderful to celebrate you and the The Turtle Saver last night at the MISD.

Field Day 2026! Mother Nature was good to us this year. Thank you to Ms A, the Washington Elementary PTO and all our parent volunteers for putting together this wonderful day for our students.

Kindness Squad held their end of year celebration with a fabulous lunch from Four Corners' Diner and building a Kindness Rock Garden. Thank you for spreading so many smiles this year!

Today, our 4th graders visited RHS for the Little Inventors program. The DEM Academy students gave our students a tour and then held a celebration for them in the auditorium.

One 4th grade student from each elementary school was selected by the high school students to have their invention idea built into a prototype by the DEM academy students, and presented with it on their visit. Congratulations to Lydia!

In music today, first graders made guitars and played along with Miguel to Un Poco Loco and Remember Me. Third graders made washboards while learning about, and playing along with, some Zydeco Music.

Romeo Community Schools is launching a new form of school-to-home communication. This unified communications plan is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with the district. A communication went out to families today with more information:

The Romeo Jazz Band came and played for our 3rd graders. Third graders are currently reading about jazz music so seeing it in action helped them make connections.
