What a morning of celebration! Washington Elementary School held their Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and officially opened the doors to their beautiful new school. We would like to thank all those that made this project possible: NC Education Lottery, Hite Associates, WIMCO, Beaufort County Commissioners, Beaufort County Schools Board of Education, Administrators, and Staff. We are so grateful for the hard work and dedication it took to make this possible. Our students are very lucky to have such an incredible building to return to this fall!

We are excited to welcome our newest teachers to Beaufort County Schools! This week during our 3-day Beginning Teacher Orientation, they received valuable information and tools to help them prepare for the upcoming school year.

We would like to thank Bright Futures Beaufort County for providing lunch each day and Delta Kappa Gamma Alpha Omega Chapter for the door prize and snacks, and especially for the Wal-Mart gift cards for all of our new teachers!!

BCS Stuff the Bus event was a big success this past Saturday! Thank you Walmart Washington for allowing us to park the bus and receive supplies from many generous donors. Because of you, our students will be able to start the school year with all the supplies they need! ❤️
