Our first Trojan Shield signatures are officially on the shield!

New this year at CPS & CIS, the Trojan Shield is a way to recognize people who make Central better simply because they’re here. Throughout the year, individuals will be invited to sign the shield in recognition of the ways they support others, step up when needed, build relationships, and make a difference for our students and staff.

We are excited to celebrate the first three people to sign our Trojan Shield, who we had the honor of recognizing for BOTH buildings because they serve our community district wide. 💙

🚌 Mr. Wills, one of our special education bus drivers, is often one of the first smiling faces our students see each morning. He consistently goes above and beyond for our students and helps make Central Transportation better each day.

💙 Mrs. Roberts is a familiar and friendly face to many at CIS from her time in our office and now serves our entire district from the District Office. No matter what we need, she is always willing to jump in, help, and find a way to make it happen.

💙Mr. King, our Director of Special Education, continually keeps what is best for students at the center of his work. He works tirelessly to ensure our students and staff have the support and resources they need to be successful.

Three people. Three different roles. Countless ways they make Central better.
