Look at this folks! Foundations and other early childhood educators take a read.

The bipartisan Supporting Early-Childhood Educators’ Deductions (SEED) Act is set to become law, marking a key bipartisan victory for early childhood educators and an important step forward for federal child care policy.

The person we hired for our float and school aged students has decided this is not the career for her. She still loves our program though! We also have two teachers leaving for medical leave Miss Cierra *almost baby time*!

With that being said, Foundations is looking for a substitute teacher. This will be someone who we can call at 6AM when staff are sick and they come in. This person will be cross trained in all age groups. Ms. Brittany would like to start interviews the week of 9/25! For the first two months or so this person could work daily. https://app.acquire4hire.com/admin #

During the month of August students of all ages learned about John the Baptist. On Thursday, the four year olds were able to take a field trip into the sanctuary. We were able to listen to Pastor Adam and tell the story with him. Students were able to talk about the food John ate, what he wore, and even how he baptized Jesus in the Jordan River.

We talked about Jesus being our friend, how going under the water gets rid of your red choices, and coming back up tells everyone you love Jesus and want to make green choices!

Students also really enjoyed asking Pastor Adam about his waders!
